The
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Program recognizes individuals with high levels of experience, competence, and proficiency in the energy management profession. Over 6,000 CEM professionals serve industry, business and government throughout the United States and in 22 countries.
The Association of South Carolina Energy Managers (ASCEM) and the SCEO hold CEM training classes to prepare qualified energy managers for the certification examination. The Association of South Carolina Energy Managers and the South Carolina Energy Office offers a classroom training program in Columbia, SC, to prepare qualified energy managers to take the certification examination. This training is typically held annually from June-July. Additionally, ASCEM sponsors an annual conference held in March. For a listing of specific dates, see the Calendar of Events.
