Renewable Energy and Advanced Vehicle Technology Grant Program

A grants program for renewable energy and advanced vehicle technology projects was available exclusively to non-profit organizations and government entities. The program aims to redirect energy dollars now leaving the state back into South Carolina’s economy and foster a cleaner, healthier, more productive environment by reducing the adverse effects of fossil fuels. A total of 12 awards were made in Spring 2010 totaling over $3.3 million.
